I’ve been gossiped before, but I felt the need to respond to this one in particular, not only because of the below-the-line swipes at my integrity, but also because if the sheer ludicrous and absurd assertions this vile article makes, and the extremely malicious comments made by persons after viewing it.
I’ve neither the time, nor the energy to keep up with websites like these, but this one by far is the worst. Not only does the webmaster not only take the idea of privacy for a person who is, consensually or otherwise, in the public eye... the levels to which this site stoops is mind-boggling.
Let me put all your minds at ease. I am an independent, progressive, ambitious woman who waits or depends on no one to survive. I am self-sufficient, and I try hardest to keep ensure that I keep that way. This is why posts of this nature puzzle me. I cannot understand why anyone, especially other females, would try to defile character and defame my name.
I am not bisexual, I have several girlfriends. Some I even consider my best of friends. These relationships are the definition of platonic I’m not sure what these continuous allegations are supposed to do. For sure, everyone recognises that they are spurious in nature, and while in the little world you all exist, it should incite or brood some animosity between myself and my female friends, it does not. It absolutely amazes me that you all find interest and enjoyment in spewing such filth.
Yes, it is true that Roy did express some concerns about our relationship to me. But I certainly didn’t jettison to England to, as you claim, tell him that “mi naw lef”. England is my second home, and I frequent the country regularly. When I am there, I visit Roy as often as I can, as he is my companion. However, I certainly haven’t tied him. If he wants to leave, he can, and he knows this. I know that I have been faithful and true, and to our relationship. And if anyone feels that they want him, he is there.
As for that nasty comment about me shoplifting, I can attest and swear that I have never shoplifted, never had a need to, and doubt I will ever have a need to. Anything I want, I can purchase, without worrying about it. That’s a testament to self-reliant nature of my personhood and my independence. If it were that I was that dependent on Roy, don’t you think I would be destitute by now? I am anything but destitute. If it is that you are all waiting on that to happen, don’t hold your breath.
You see, I don’t put my faith in man. I trust, pray to, and worship God, who has never turned His back on me. He has blessed me beyond belief, and as long as I continue to do right by Him, and put Him first, He will keep me. I preach love to everyone, and wish nothing but the best for them. Even to the webmasters of this site, and the inept and misinformed commentators, I wish nothing but love and I pray The Father will speak to you and bless you in that way only He can.
I have never responded to a gossip column, as I consider this type of trash tacky, irresponsible, and disrespectful, and I do not intend to respond to another one. You can take this post, and sing from the hilltops that you elicited a response from Lena British, but know this much... ‘God nah sleep’
